- When your mind won’t shut up, do this.
When your mind won’t shut up, do this.
How to stop being the reason you fall off track.
There’s a version of me that still creeps in sometimes:
👉 Overthinking everything
👉 Starting strong, then ghosting my own goals
👉 Making plans I never follow through on
If you know that version too — read this.
Here are 3 tactical ways I’ve learned to reset when my mind turns chaotic:
1. Focus on the next 30 minutes
Not the whole day.
Not your 6-month plan.
Just one clean 30-minute window.
→ Ask: What would the disciplined version of me do right now?
Then do that — even if it’s small.
2. Move your body before you move your plans
If you’re mentally fogged out, don’t try to think your way out.
Move first. Plan second.
→ 10 pushups, a walk, or cold water — it resets your nervous system.
3. Write out the sabotage
If you’re spiraling, open your Notes app and write exactly your thoughts.
→ This slows your thoughts down.
→ And reveals how irrational most self-sabotage is.
You don’t need motivation.
You need a pattern disruptor.
I’m putting together an audiobook based on everything that helped me rebuild focus, discipline, and self-trust, especially when falling apart behind the scenes.
It’s not ready yet — but I’ll share it soon.
Until then…
Win the next 30 minutes.
You’ll thank yourself tonight.
